Sarajevo, 29 September 2016 – The Sarajevska pivara d.d. / JSC is the sponsor of the MESS – 56th International Theatre Festival, and this cooperation is formalized by signing the contract, by virtue of which the Sarajevsko, the most famous brand of the Brewery, became the official drink of the Festival. The MESS is another project in the field of culture, which has been supported by the Sarajevska pivara d.d. / JSC this year

“We believe that, as a local company, it is our duty to, according to our capabilities, support each and every project and institution aiming to promote B&H heritage, culture, as well as to promote our country in general. Therefore, we have decided to sponsor the MESS, which is one of the leading festivals in this part of Europe, and we hope that this will be a significant support to the Festival”, said Adnan Kamber, the marketing manager of the Sarajevska pivara d.d. / JSC.

Nihad Kreševljaković, the director of the Public institution International Theatre Festival MESS, stressed that it was important that the significance of culture, especially theater, was recognized by the domestic successful companies.

“The support of the Sarajevska pivara d.d. / JSC is not only important at what it means to us, but it is also important as a model and an invitation to other entrepreneurs to start acting as socially responsible companies. The example of the Sarajevska pivara d.d. / JSC, which recognized the importance of supporting the MESS as well as other projects in the field of culture is of general importance and it awakens optimism. Such actions indicate a potential cooperation of economy and culture which could make our country the way it should have been long time ago – a relevant cultural and economic center of Europe”, added Mr. Kreševljaković.

Only in the last year, the Sarajevska pivara d.d. / JSC supported more than 250 different cultural and sports events and socially responsible projects.
